I believe students excel at becoming English proficient with hard work and encouragement. Becoming proficient in English takes diligence and practice in reading, writing, listening and speaking. I believe it is my job to help my students become English proficient by providing opportunities for practice in all the four language domains.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Grades (K-8th) with minors in Spanish, ESOL, and Pschology from Eastern Mennonite Univeristy. I have a Masters in Special Education from Georgia State University. I have a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.
I teach ESOL at RMS. The pull-out model is used at RMS.
