Hello! My name is Danielle Coley. This is my 13th year teaching. I have taught Pre-K, 3rd grade & Kindergarten. This year is my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade and I am so excited! I graduated in December 2006 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. I received my Master's Degree in 2009 in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. I completed my Specialist Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in December 2013. I have been married for 12 years to Brent Coley, high school math teacher at Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, GA. We have two children, Jaxon Coley, age 9, and Jace Coley, age 6.
My favorite part of education is instruction. I love to build lessons that bring learning to life for my students. I love to use technology in my classroom to differentiate my lessons for my students needs. I believe that every child can learn. It is important to me to create a positive learning environment where all students feel safe and secure. It is always my goal as an educator to find what works best for each student in the classroom. I strive to help my students reach their full potential and develop a love for learning along the way.
