My name is Elisa Prewett. I attended Jacksonville State University and received my degree in Elementary Education. This will begin my 8th year of teaching. I have taught 5 years at Youngs Grove Elementary and 3 years at Cherokee Elementary. I currently teach ESOL K-3 at Cherokee.
I have been happily married to my husband, Randy, for 22 years and have two children. My son, Tyler, is a junior and attends the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky. My daughter, Emily, is in the 10th grade and attends Cedartown High School.
I believe that teaching is more than teaching a child a subject. I see each child as an individual with his or her own needs and goals. My goal is to encourage and motivate your child to be the best student and young citizen possible.
