PACKET DROP OFF IS NEXT WEEK!!!

PLEASE SEE INFORMATION BELOW!!!

Date: May 1, 2020

Students and Parents,

We will be taking up the Distance Learning Packets next week.  6th grade will be taken up Monday, May 4, 7th Grade Tuesday, May 5, and 8th Grade Wednesday, May 6.  Times each day will be 11:00 – 1:00 and 4:00 – 6:00.  All packets will be turned in at the front of the school.  We will also take library books at this location.  We ask that you make sure the student’s name is on all paperwork turned in.  We also ask that you remain in your car at all times and we will come to you.

In addition to packet return, these will also be the days that all uniforms are returned to RMS, Band Instruments may be retrieved, and Yearbooks may be picked up or purchased (Yearbook cost is $50.00 and you will need to have exact change or a check written to Rockmart Middle School).  We will have stations for each of these items set up in our teacher parking lot.  We ask that everyone turn in packets first and then, if needed, visit the other stations.  Again, we ask that you stay in our car and allow RMS staff to assist you.

Bill Miller Photographers did not send proofs for Spring Pictures directly to RMS.  You may contact them be emailing to hello@billmillerphotographers.com.  You may also call their office at 256-892-3150.

If you have questions about these plans or anything else, feel free to call the RMS office at 678-757-1479 Monday-Friday from 8:00 – 12:00.

Thank you and Stay Safe!

Community Involvement

Floyd Clinic

We’re excited to announce that Floyd Primary Care’s medical clinic will be open to students, faculty and staff in January 2020. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students who do not currently see a family physician to have their annual wellness check-up completed at the school.

Parents and guardians, you should have already received an information packet, either by email or sent home with your student. If you’re interested in this program, please feel out the information form included with the packet and return it to the school. Once we receive the information form, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for your student.

We hope that you will take advantage of this amazing opportunity!
