I am dedicated to creating an environment that fosters optimism, creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. I strive to prepare tomorrow's leaders today by modeling superior instruction in my teaching and by developing social efficacy skills through meaningful interactions with my students. With curriculum and instruction that are challenging and rigorous, I work to maintain high academic standards of learning and critical thinking.
I received my education in Florida, graduating from Lake Sumter State College and Florida Southern College with a concentration on English/writing. I am married and live in Haralson County. I have an adult son who resides in North Carolina. My husband and I enjoy running our hobby farm filled with a variety of animals including chickens, Guinea hens, goats, and a pot-belly pig. As empty-nesters, we are now raising three Chihuahuas and several cats.
